Chevrolet Apache Straight-6 – Fully Restored
This Chevrolet Apache has been subjected to a full, documented "body-off" restoration, including a photo report.
Body and chassis: The chassis is blasted and powder coated. All the sheet metal was also blasted, treated with etching primer and then sprayed in epoxy. The lacquer consists of five layers of colour and four layers of clear lacquer.
Braking system: Completely renewed. Includes brake master cylinder, brake lines, wheel brake cylinders, brake shoes (renewed), and brake drums (turned out).
Drivetrain: The gearbox (3-speed steering wheel control) has been completely overhauled. The engine has also been overhauled and equipped with an electronic ignition and a new carburettor.
Cooling: New, four-row aluminum radiator installed.
Electrical system: Completely renewed cabling.
Loading platform: Equipped with 25 mm thick oiled native oak.
Registration and origin: Original American registration and plates are present.
