DAY1 World of Cars

Friday July 22, 2022

During the weekend of 8, 9 & 10 July, the largest car show in the Netherlands took place: Day1 World of Cars in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, with a whopping 60,000m2! And we were there. With, among others, 8 special cars you could visit our stand during the event which is all about cars, lifestyle, sports, gaming and music.

At the stand where we with Automotive Auctions occupied 150 m2 a beautiful part of the DAY1 World of Cars, you could include the insane Mercedes-Benz AMG GTR with 585hp 4.0 V8 engine from 2017 on the photo. You received a printed personalized photo of this to take home and to enjoy for a while of course.

During the DAY1 World of Cars event, you could admire a mix of more than 200 cars from all corners of the automotive world. Think of hypercars, supercars and the Dutch top of the modified cars. But also racing legends and top names in Dutch motorsports were present and open to learn from, or for a photo or autograph.

An amazing Walk of Fame surrounded by 6,000 chairs was the central meeting point of the event. Car fanatics from young to old were short of eyes and ears on the meter-long grandstand. With Automotive Auctions we were able to drive along the Walk of Fame every day where we could tell special details about our cars but also about the company. Who doesn't want to hear a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT63s GT-Class with 639bhp revving on the catwalk of the biggest car show in the Netherlands?

Those who know DAY1, know that the event ends with a party and that DJs and artists can be seen regularly. And what better way to end a 3-day event than with a banging show by a DJ who is unmissable at DAY1: DJ La Fuente! He closed the event with a great set during the closing party on the Walk of Fame. Now it's up to us to enjoy and scroll through all the pictures again!
