This Datsun 240z from 1971 is originally from California with the license plate 651CNV. In 1991 the Datsun came to the Netherlands with 123000 miles on the clock. From 1995 to 2018, the car stopped. The restoration started in 2018. The car is completely painted in the epoxy and then finished in the color Safari Gold. The engine (matching numbers) has been overhauled, the gearbox is a revised 5-speed gearbox. The brakes, clutch, front shock absorbers and radiator have also been renewed. 80% of the Datsun consists of original parts from the factory. Battery box and small spot in sill have been replaced, otherwise a hard car.
After more than 2 years (23-06-2020) the Datsun could go to the RDW. From that time on it is driven like an oldtimer.
In May 2022, the brake booster was replaced and the 14-inch steel wheels with original rare hubcaps were fitted. The spare wheel, jack and all original necessities are provided.
