Few who know this car. This generation of Rolls-Royce is known to many as Silver Spur or Silver Spirit, but Rolls-Royce took an old name for the final series: Silver Dawn. Perhaps the car was already a statement when it came out: this was and would remain the last 'real' Rolls-Royce: after all, BMW rattled at the gates and its successor, the Silver Seraph, lost its British 6.75 liter V8 for a V12 engine from BMW. The Silver Dawn is a vehicle from a series of Rolls-Royce cars of the 80s and 90s. That started with the Silver Spirit and the Silver Spur (longer wheelbase). They are the first Rolls-Royces where the Spirit of Ecstasy can be folded away. The Silver Dawn was part of the last series, the Mark III, it was a special version that is characterized by the modified front (smaller radiator and logo) and, among other things, a traction assistance system. The Silver Dawn has the great advantage that it is a model that has been further developed and evolved over years into a particularly well thought-out car.
The car that is here is a Belgian and a handsome appearance. The car has only driven 25,000 km, coming from the second owner has been used in recent years for weddings and transport with a driver. Because the car has hardly run in the last two to three years, we recommend a technical inspection before it is put into use, but quite frankly: we do not want to believe that. The way the engine runs and how the car looks suggests otherwise. Recently the battery was replaced and a Certificate of Conformity became available. In addition, the instruction book and service book are available.
From the deep dark blue paint with the allegedly hand-drawn coach line, to the fantastic finish of the interior with the heavy safe-like doors and the abundance of wood and leather, which even extends to the ceiling. Even by today's standards, this is still a very luxurious car. Few cars from this era of Rolls-Royce look so beautiful after more than 25 years.
