Land Rover 109 Series II Fire Brigade 78hp 1969 – AM-25-29
This 1969 Land Rover 109 Series II was originally converted into a fire support vehicle for the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Lacken in Austria. The vehicle was in service there until 2006 and was then imported to the Netherlands.
Between 2012 and 2016, the Land Rover was fully nut-and-bolt restored. During this restoration, the chassis was also replaced, because the old chassis could no longer be saved. The car is also equipped with a capstan on the front bumper.
Documentation is available with the vehicle, including valuation reports and many invoices. There has also been contact with the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Lacken. The photos show this contact, as well as historical images of the fire truck, known at the time as "Roger", during its period in use with the fire brigade. Photo reportage on a stick of restoration and history also present.
