1953 Opel Olympia Coupe Sedan 39pk
The 1952 Opel Olympia is a distinctive classic from the postwar reconstruction era. The model was originally introduced in 1935 to coincide with the Olympic Games in Berlin and stood out at the time for its innovative monocoque body. The 1952 version is characterized by a design with American influences, including the prominent chrome grille with horizontal slats.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine producing approximately 39 pk, mated to a three-speed manual transmission with steering column shift. At the time, the car reached a top speed of approximately 110 km/h.
With its distinctive design and historical background, the 1952 Opel Olympia is a recognizable example of the German automotive industry of the 1950s.
